I am just a simple man-
no titles to carry,
no need for polished words
or grand intentions.
I wake with the sun,
walk where the ground feels honest,
speak when there's something worth saying,
and fall silent when there isn't.
I measure my days
in small, steady moments-
the sound of rain on a tin roof,
the weight of bread in my hands
the glance of someone who sees me
without needing me to explain.
I do not chase the sky,
but I look up often,
not to conquer,
but to remember
how vast it all is,
and how enough it is
just to be here.
I am just a simple man-
not empty,
just unadorned,
an full
in the ways
that cannot be seen.
