It’s burning

Woke up to see the world on fire
I always knew it’d come to be
Yet, knowledge did not bring the water
Now ashes drifting lazily
Begin to build upon the ground
Silence transforms into sound
While the sun just circles round and round
The sun just circles round and round

An empty bed, an icy sheet
A promise from a seasoned liar
Cooler than the coldest breeze
Dips and bobs this fragile wire
Toes that curl, sweat beads down
Falling doesn’t make a sound
While the sun just circles round and round
The sun just circles round and round
