’Neath the clouds

Behold !

The Aqueous Earth, under cloud formation,
which e’er orbits in pious adoration
at the high altar of the Sun.

Here below, you and I in cozy nest
under surging clouds enjoy the best;
the song of love once more begun.

‘neath the clouds, which overlook the sea,
where mountains, streams, and deserts be,
we share a sunlit home -- naught else require.

Dearest love, in rhapsody we belong;
a savored happiness, our enduring song.
This more my impassioned heart’s desire:

To be e’er entranced by you;
with everlasting love song, too,
thus so endure ‘til final Sun arises.

A love affair in full perfection
with tenderness and fond affection;
this rose, dear heart, my pledge comprises.
