In my French class, the teacher is Sylvie;
we’re learning French as fast as can be.
But sometimes she speaks it so very fast,
I don’t know if the tenses are present or past.

In that class, if I don’t understand,
I employ a most clever technique:
I say, while pointing to my ears with my hand,
“Bien sur, c’est mes appareils acoustiques.”
