lulled and lost

a ballad
a beacon
luring little lullaby
lurking
sneaky siren;
majestic muse
gleaming, glistening, glowing
comforted by my night’s guide
swimming softly
paddling, rowing, plowing
into the dark depths of salty sea
sweetly staring at stark stars
sand crumbling in between my tired wrinkly toes
blissfully, butterflies swaying when the wind blows
lightning bugs twirl below
your flute, your harp
melodic melancholy
mesmerizing, blurring my memory
collapsed
lost in a magical musical
snoring slumber
soaked in soapy slobber
