And the politicians save only themselves...

When our children are on crack...
And the opioid epidemic kills our grand babies...

Where will the old people go...
When our teenagers are dead in the streets...
And there’s no one else to care...

Where will the old people go...
When the very people we elected fail to protect us...
And our grandmothers become vulnerable...

Where will the old people go...
When they can no longer fend for themselves...
And no one can hear them crying...

Where will the old people go...
When their world comes to an end...
And the only answer they receive is from Heaven...
