Sometimes my head is in the clouds...
Other times my head is in the sand...
Sometimes my thoughts are so jumbled up...
I feel I’m sinking in some far off hinterland...

It’s hard to control my thinking...
A challenge I face every day...
It’s as if my wires are completely crossed...
The mind games that steal me away...

I pray for a time to be normal...
For the craziness to be removed from my head...
I beg my Higher Power...
To help me just get out of my bed...

I know the answers to my problems...
Are right there waiting for me to find...
I wish my life was much more simple...
That the thoughts of fear would simply leave my mind...

It’s a challenge I work on every day...
It’s the little victories that keep coming through...
So thank you for all that you do for me...
For allowing me to keep on trusting you...
