Robert Frost had once said, “Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.” I believe that poetry expresses what the heart wants to say but what the mouth has trouble saying. As a 14 year old girl, I love to write about what I feel and want to express. I write about things I see or experience and what I strongly believe in. Writing poetry is my passion and the more I read or write, the more passionate I get. My favourite topics are the current social issues that I can see around myself in the society.
Besides writing poetry, I love reading novels. To me, books are a way in which other people express what they feel and want to say. I feel that while reading a book, I start to feel an emotional connection with the character and this is the reason I find it so hard to stop believing in the book. For me, it is the same case with poetry. If I read a piece of poetry that is finely and nicely expressed, I am bound to start believing in it.
