I choose to dwell in the clouds

I CHOOSE TO DWELL IN THE CLOUDS

I choose to dwell
among clouds
for a while
where fleshlessness a
state of bliss I soak
not forever can I fathom a
nothingness
for to return
is to fleshly learn

dwelling in clouds
no lungs or liver have I
don’t sleep shop eat
weep or sweep
sing rapturously without song
laugh without sound
revel in endless joy
of boundless belonging
to Cosmos comic coy

free from gas fumes
iPhone emissions laundry dunes
enchanted electrons orbiting
I dance attend theatres
mass meditations
art galleries sprinkle posies
without body belly or a single bone
stretch across all eternity etching
peacock patterns alone

here I weave in and out of infinity
touch fingertips of Beloved
visit grandmothers in homes
without windows or walls
leap forward or jump backwards
through bygone benedictions
circle or triangle quadrangle or
trace hexagon celebrations

become Flower of Life
a point of no return or
endlessly enumerate kisses
never mourn
fetch no toddlers from noisy crèches
clean no fridges
attend no endless meetings
fear or fame are specks
appearing like torn sequins
in vapour dew I glide
rain shine I form change
quenching a delighted Earth
watch my pink-silver linings birth
listen without eardrums
don polar bear costume or
naked ride when weather is a vague
memory related to seasons
I fingered as time on
a different vibration

Here I am
t i m e l e s s
effortlessly pay no bills
enter zero malls
no negotiation or negations or
rasping breaths after plunder plots
no opaque pretensions
nor empty dramas stilted

authentic self !
magical mythical
magnificent misty
I comprehend out of body
before I choose
descent
to finish cold coffee watching
another version of myself
in clouds where she chooses
to dwell
vaporised
