Seeing Stars

I look in your eyes and all I can see is stars
Bright, mysterious, yet beautiful all the same.
The light you give off is enough to start a seminar
Yet your beauty is all I can think of and often I forget its aim.

You look into my eyes and you see a different light
Not a star, nor a Tsar, but elegant all the same.
I love you and you love me too, right?
Together we share no shame.

But is it alright to see the white
Or is it wrong of me to try and write?
And is it polite to ask tonight
If we could rewrite everything and burn bright?

I love you and you love me too
Could we, just the two of us, see the stars tonight?
