I was born in Egypt as my father was a serving soldier in the nearest military hospital. We returned to the UK in June 1951. I grew up in Salisbury in Southern England. I served in the army specialising in HGV driver instruction. After that I spent the rest of my working life involved with transport in some form or another including more HGV instruction with the fire service, buses and coaches followed ands worked in many laces in the country. I retired in 2014 and have been writing since then. I do poetry, novels and short stories mostly fiction but a couple of non-fiction pieces.
