I Could Love None of them More than You

Even within the smooth embrace of polished sand drapes,

I only thought of you.

And even as the peach glow of a setting sun greeted me on the drifting waves,

their color distracted me to you.

And even when the breeze carried sweet liberty,

I could only think of how, within it, your hair would fly sincerely, like orchid petals tumbling true.

Of all things beautiful, and all things blue, I could love none of them more than you.

(Context: This is from a story I’m writing. The character it’s about has a connection to the ocean and her skin is blue. Also, I don’t know how to do line breaks, but it’s delivered in dialogue anyways. And the line about orchids might not make sense outside of the context of the scene, so you can ignore it if it sticks out.)
