What would you Give

Do you possess the desire to free yourself
Of self-doubt, regret and yearning
Or shall you choose to be an alabaster statue frozen in time
Emotionless
While the world as most know it keeps turning

What would you give in silver, gold and gems
To cast off the smothering blanket of pain
Banishing forever the memories tearing at your soul
Dying
That haunt and torment your brain

Would you offer up all you have
If only once more
Feel warm blood flowing through your heart
Exiting the plane of the matrix that binds you if only for a brief moment
Reality
In all its viciousness and grandeur so stark.
