How sweet is life
Forever grasp
Savored until the last dying breath

Slowing of the blood
Dimming sight
Flailing heart beats diminish
Into the eagerly waiting night

Ragged breathing
The struggle is ending
Deaths calming hand now quietly seek

Announcing the finality of a long cold sleep
