The Beginning of the Sorrows

When all of time was fading into what was to come
In the hearts of demented men
Would corruption flourish and grow
Their destiny was to harvest the chaos poor fools
They themselves had deliberately sown

The helpless lowborn would starve and suffer
While the highborn gluttonous grew fatter
The calm became the turbulent storm
The sane mad as a hatter

The seas were now dry deserts
The brown deserts fathoms down
The jagged white capped mountain tops became green valleys
And the stars lost their crowns

Being fully conscious of the consequences
Still, they chose to continue sinning
So came the end of the those condemned and marked
The days of sorrow in its beginning
