If it is blood, you wish

Then drink deep of its fountain
But beware such an appetite bears a cost

Its sweetness on the tongue
Stirring foul desires
Caring not where the red nectar is obtained
Whether it be through gain or loss

The emotional decomposition begins in the mind
Completing its tedious journey in the heart
Weigh carefully the choices before you sup too deeply
And all is lost.

For once the soul has descended this low
Defiled and despised
There is no looking back
Void of all humanity
Reality now bleak and stark

So, if it is blood, you wish
Seek the house of Death and Loss
But be warned such an appetite bears a cost
