My beady golden eyes ever- gleaming
A back so scaly your fingers could get
pricked by a single touch
But do not get intimidated

I simply adore the sun
And well guess what?
The sun adores me too
Its golden rays always dance on my little scaly back
Who says when you are a cold-blooded creature
you do not need some heat too?
