Brotherhood

Before calm can grace the world,
Unity must take precedence.
Separation through strife breeds like cancer,
And destroys the core of brotherhood.

Humanity is the highest of earth's creation,
Yet discord condescends to the base,
Differences are part of human complexity,
That hail the uniqueness of man.

Male and female constitute mankind,
The color of skin is superficial,
Humanity is not according to race,
For all are made of flesh and blood.

Let us rise as brothers and sisters,
And conquer the foe of hate and prejudice,
Permit all to express their opinion,
And allow disagreement to walk away--in peace.
