writing... writing... you almost wish you could
bypass the editors...
you don't even want to know
what the editorial boyscouts are up to on
medium.com -
some variant of "social media"
for the linkedin "cwowd"...
with mooooooooooooo'knee...

my first comment?

crabs in a bucket… as long as you get past the editorial miasma: show us your blinders, whitened and prish'teen! well this editorial membrane / filter was always the same for me… the exhausting "agony" of "the wait"… aren't editors akin to critics and dinosaurs?! imagine passing someone 100 people might like… through only one imploded anus of an ego that morphs into a mouth that relates to only 10 people of source: paid subscriptions? scrolling through all the comments: wow… plenty of noses rubbing the chocolate brownies… no wonder so much of writing, sieved through the sort of editorial processes involved… comes out… anemic… listening to my dementia suffering grandfather sounds like a bloody postcard zenith of the year… per usual… people wanting to sell not knowing what they're selling… that antique WOW! surprise… thanks, i was just informed how i would make toilet paper, moulded… into a papier-mâché… come to arrive at a Fabergé egg fake… aren't editors supposed to be delt the same sort of animosity associated with dentists among surgeons? aren't butchers higher up? i'm pretty sure that someone dealing with a post-mortem… would… be itching to climb… up… then again: crap… this isn't 4chan… ah… too good an opportunity to give it a miss!

you'd think that the internet was
the sure way to bypass editors...
after all... 1 editor says he knows 50 people...
then the 1 of you shows up with 100 people...
the editor knows best, then?

so in literature an editor is someone
who tells you:
you need to write for these people
because X didn't happen...
while in journalism an editor
is someone who tells you:
you need to write for these people
because X did happen?

what psychadelic carousel of supply-and-demand...
an editor,
in the modern sense...
who has to share the same sort of rent
of the electricity bill...
as i do... but he claims
to be giving out exclusive rights
of "print" on the pixel paper...
said the minority...
and the majority only had to pay...
great... passed down the editorial
esophagus...
see you on the regurgitated side out.
