Song About You - Poem

They say I should get over you,
But they are the only ones that want me too,
Cause I wrote a song about you,
Bout those laughs we use to have,
Daydreams,
Doze of landing in a place we’ve never been,
Exploring,
The scenes,
Coming and goings,
And I wrote a song about you,
My feet into the dirt,
They do now really hurt,
Like I’ve stepped in quicksand,
And you’re dragging me by my heart and not by my hand under,
Under the earth,
Buried down under,
The songs about you.
And what you put me through.
