Twisted Thoughts

In shadowed corners of my mind,
where whispers crawl and truth unwinds,
a tangle grows of fear and fire,
of silent screams and dark desire.

Hope twists like ivy, sharp with thorns,
of dreams left tattered, bruised and torn.
The past returns in broken frames,
each memory a whispered name.

I chase the light, but lose my grip,
fall deeper in this mental crypt.
Where reason rots and doubts evolve,
a puzzle thought may never solve.

Yet still I breathe, though tangled tight-
A flicker fights the endless night.
In twisted thoughts,a seed remains,
of quiet strength that breaks the chains.
