clouds drifting without intent.
Trees do not argue with the wind,
nor the river with its stones.

Children laugh in the distance,
not loud,just enough to remind
that life can be gentle,
that silence need not mean fear.

Even the sun seems unburdened
as it wars the earth without demand.
