I found my own way home

I made my own way home.
Long and tedious, harmful
necessary but enduring
this road didn't lead to Rome. Thank God.
Yes I found my own way home.
Faces that told an ugly story.
Thank the spirit I left them all behind
despite the horror memory that lingers.
For all that I refused to entertain their erroneous sense of glory.
My passion to survive the worst that humanity had to offer
lay hidden a purpose of drive
enemies howevever deceitful and bright
their flows only to despise
my presence shocked them but I will arise.
For I didn't want to break the universes contract
for it was alien in these evil hearts
they tried to break me in to parts.
Yet my council has billions of years to be made and shaped
though they witnessed a dead life from dead people
not even their shadows would wear their clothes.
I found my own way home.
The further I traveled the spear of growth appeared
for my eyes saw decay in others never to be cleared.
If you want to be alive you have to truly defend the earth's oath.
Earth nature brought me to a house called home.
