I hate waiting
I wait to pay for a gift card
And wait for some publisher
In Califorina to reject my poems
I must have looked at my inbox
Twenty-million times a day
For the magazine for seven weeks
The time could be wasted on TV
Or reading a book
And writing more poems
Cleaning my apartment once more
Yeah, I got a lot of time on my hands
But I continue to trash my days
On this g-d-damn waiting
