Listening to jazz
While read poetry
On an October, Sunday afternoon
But all I could hear is the music
That the rain against the window
The wind blew down the leftover leaves
And they were too wet to collect
But we didn't care
we were wrapped in blankets
As the jazz swung
Making us want to dance
However, we were still tired
From last night's party
It was noon when we woke up
And with the sound of rain
Whatever we wanted to do
It was decided we would stay inside
And return to bed
The cleaning up can wait
