You arrived there early with your buddies...
Swapping roller skates for your old tennis shoes...
You immediately started scoping out all the pretty girls...
Circling the rink as you began to cruise...

As you’re checking out all the ladies...
You suddenly begin to realize...
That your girlfriend is also at the rink...
So you say “so long!” to your guys...

So there you are with your girlfriend...
Skating together under the disco lights...
Trying to impress her with your trick moves...
Spending time together on Friday nights...

Holding hands with your best steady...
While circling the skating rink...
Listening to “Wild Thing” on the jukebox...
She sneaks a quick kiss and then a wink...

You decide to go in the corner...
And share a quiet moment or two...
It’s there when she says “I really like you!”
You respond “yes, and I like you, too!”

Friday nights at Ray’s Rollerama...
Was always a part of teenage life...
Who knew that your best girlfriend...
Would eventually become your wife...
