Shroud of Dusk
LIKE THIS POEM
Dusk fell velvety maroon
when blue thrush whistled sharply,
at cool death of afternoon,
when teal stars glittered starkly.
In silk moon rays, green grass stirred;
and the red world turned darkly.
Natural beauty observed.
