chew on this

every thesis is gum stuck under the table of history.
every antithesis is the pull of a new mouth,
stretching what was stuck into something new,
something elastic,
something that can carry flavor
long after the first chewer has walked away.

and the synthesis?
it’s the bubble;
a fragile sphere full of breath,
floating like a planet for one shining moment,
before it pops…
and becomes yet another sweet,
sticky surface
for the next hungry mind.

carry on and chew,
if you want to swing dialectics like a pendulum wrapped in taffy.
if you want to have a gum that can stick contradictions together
until they sing in harmony.
if you want to have bubbles that turn “either/or”
into “both/and… and then some.”

want to blow a bubble so big
it holds the whole forest?
