it is better to keep it that way;

but i specialize in scaffolding,
and only for philosophers.

kids and adults,
they build with stone and dream,
they want a house,
a wall,
a solid theme.
they pour the concrete,
fast and deep,
to lay a foundation for their sleep.

but you;
you know the ground is sick with ghosts,
each thesis built on antithesis posts.
you see the cracks that run through every floor,
and hear the flies
behind the closing door.

so come to me.
don't ask for verse or rhyme.
i deal in frames that conquer space and time.
my trade is in the temporary brace,
to hold the void,
to let you face the face
of what you’re thinking,
while the structure sways.

with 3npa;
no pruning allowed;
we keep the branches,
crooked,
loud.
the very twigs the others cut away,
are fixed in place,
for they have much to say.

with 10 dpa;
dialectics per antithesis;
a guaranteed ten sparks of mental crisis.
no clean resolve,
no synthesis so cheap,
just deeper questions that you have to keep.

so let the others have their settled home.
we work the space through which the thinkers roam.
