Aesthetic

I can hear the water gurgling in the tank
and me walking on damp sand.

The dawn is a bit gloomier today;
like my emotions, the skies are gray.

Peaceful birds coo in the distance,
wise owls nod their heads
and as the desert flower blooms
the grass covers the soil like a carpet
laying on the hearth.

Dew drops from the leaves of trees
giving life to the insects below.
And the scrunching of dry leaves is heard.
It is all a sign that we might see something
even more aesthetic tomorrow.
