a poem is a fool trying to think
to lazy for prose, to slow to speak
a poem is capture lighting
but not really, you see?
it makes no sense or too much sense
it’s boring and lazy
a new line forms and more paper wasted.
but a poem is dangerous if used right
a teaspoon you can use in a fight
if you hit them several times
eventually, it’ll start to sting
